Meet the Crew

“We are tied to the ocean.  And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch, we are going back from whence we came.”  – John F. Kennedy

Mark Buckley

Mark is a life long sailor and outdoorsman. He grew up sailing sunfish, beach cats and the family’s sloop on the North Shore of Long Island, NY.

He has earned a USCG 50T Masters license with over 15,000 blue water miles under his keel with adventures to Bermuda & the Bahamas.

The American Sailing Association (ASA) has certified him as an instructor from Basic Keelboat 101 through Bareboat Chartering 104 & Catamaran Cruising 114.

Mark says, “I’m a calm & patient captain focused on helping you reach your sailing goals, be that advanced ASA certifications or simply an enjoyable afternoon or sunset sail.”
